Lunar Gear: MM! Light Novel author Passes Away

According to Media Factory, MM! light novel author Matsuno Akinari suddenly passed away on April 18th. There’s no official word on the exact cause of death as of yet. The MM! novel will be left unfinished.


Matsuno Akinari won the 1st MF Bunko J Light Novel New Author award for his debut series Aoba-kun to Uchuu-jin in 2005. Two years later he would release his second series "MM!". "MM!" received both a manga and anime adaptation.
