What is Plamo

Plamo (プラモ, puramo): Plamo refer to hobby of plastic modeling. Plastic model come in many size, price and quality. Many line of model can be categorizes in to following group.

• Scale Model/Military Model: these line cover military theme plastic model mostly consist of real world weapon, real military equipment and vehicle.These line also include car model and other civilian vehicle.

• Gunpla: Gunpla is combination word of "Gundam", a robot theme anime and the "plastic" model. The plastic model model that related to Gunpla line are mostly produced by "Bandai". Some consider other robot kit from other company as Gunpla as well.

• Scratch Modelling: Refer to modeller who fully build their model from scratch. Their theme is very vary from modeller to modeller.

• Kit Bashing: Refer to modeller who custom build their model by using existing item as base to custom build their own model.

"Steam Punk Hero created using official DC comic figure as base"

• Garage Model: refer to those that construct their model from a Garage Kit. Garage Kit theme is very vary. Mostly this line are consist of female anime character and robot kit. most of these kit are made out of resin, which is very expensive when compare to other line, while also need very high skill in modelling to finish these kit.
